“A man who is really saved by grace does not need to be told that he is under solemn obligations to serve Christ. The new life within him tells him that. Instead of regarding it as a burden, he gladly surrenders himself–body, soul, and spirit–to the Lord who has redeemed him, reckoning this to be his reasonable service.” ~Charles Spurgeon
ask the pastor to let you borrow those books,
the bride wore white and who moved the goalpost.
they should be in his office or back up in the library,
or remind me and i will get them for you on sunday.
smooches, kristina
Kristina,
Thank you for leaving me a comment about that. I was just thinking about those books. I won’t need to borrow And the Bride Wore White after all because I ended up buying a copy so that I’d just have it around, but I’d still love to borrow Who Moved the Goalpost.
I’ll be sure to ask either you or Rich about it on Sunday.

On an unrelated note, I finished Bird By Bird. It was enjoyable, thanks for recommending it.
DT,
I’m glad you found it enjoyable.

’stop dating the church’ – thought provoking title. i have a few thoughts about that as well.

Makes you wonder if there are any “true” Christians anymore.
Great quote. Very centering.
