I love tabbies, too.

Boy, do they ever accumulate. It’s nice to have a lot of cats around, though, so I enjoy it. :-)

Friends may come and go, but cats accumulate

Very True.

This guy looks ferocious.

She can be pretty ferocious. You don’t want to bother her when she’s hunting her mouse toy or you risk losing an arm. :-P

Grats on the cat.

P.S.- I swear, I have not forgotten about our deal. I’ll read “Bye Bye, Birdy” as soon as possible. Please don’t take any hostages.

No worries, DT. I only take hostages as a last resort, so you’re good, for now.

By the way, the book is called Bird by Bird: Some Instructions on Writing and Life and it’s by Anne Lamott. It’s a newer book, so you should be able to find it at your library without too much trouble.

That’s so cute. My oldest wants a cat so bad he can taste it. OK, probably not the best adage to use in this case. ;-) Alas, our oldest DOG is a cat killer so we should probably wait until he goes to that happy hunting ground in the sky.

I liked your adage; it made me laugh. :-)

Food chains are probably best left in nature and not in the house. It is frustrating, though, when you’d like to have another pet. We have six cats and for awhile my sister had a couple of mices thrown into the mix, which made for quite a bit of work trying to keep them apart. :-P

Nice, sweet, beautiful Amy. Thanks for the photo.

Six cats? I’ve now got two and would love more, but getting new kitties is hard on the others - they don’t seem to just make automatic friends.

Peace, love and understanding.

Yes, I know what you mean. Cats are funny like that. They’re often horrible about making new friends. :-)
